Here you can read how I made this website about Croatia and how it changed my life. In fact, this travel-website is earning me a nice part time income besides University. It pays my tuition fees and most of my bills. And this page tells you how.

Nowadays, many people are struggling to build a better life for themselves and their families. TOUGH times, now. Re-tooling yourself is critical in today's world. It changes so fast. Jobs are unstable. Rather than depend on a job, depend on yourself.

My story is living proof that what I am about to tell you really works and that anyone can turn a hobby, passion or skill into a profitable online business (with no prior internet know-how)!

OK. Let's start with ...um... me :-)

How I became a Croatia enthusiast?

She was also born in Germany but her parents are from Croatia. They built a beautiful house on the island of Vir and so - the choice of our holidays became obvious. We are there as often as we can.

...The funny thing is, all this traveling made me three times as enthusiastic in Croatia as I already was :-)

Please don't get me wrong here. I am by no means an expert. I just love this country and want to share my travel experiences with you.

It feels great to be able to do something I love and share this knowledge with so many people from around the globe. And because this is about "travel", I can combine it with my 'other' passion: photography.

I absolutely love taking pictures!

I love it because photography is a way to collect memories for life. And of course, to share some of the most beautiful places in Croatia - with YOU!

What I did, my life...in a nutshell

Then I made an apprenticeship (three years) as an IT-Specialist at a large Pharmaceutical company. In the evenings I participated four semesters in the Cisco Networking Acedemy.

Just month after I successfully finished both, the company was suddenly sold to a huge Switzer corporate group. The first thing they did was outsourcing the IT to India.

Wow!

The company made more than 3 billion € in net profit (yes, billion!), had the most successful year ever, and now they fire so many of us? What's going wrong here?!

The following month (unemployed now) weren't my best, as you can imagine. I tried to find anoher suitable job, but wasn't 100% sure if that's what I was looking for. What should I do now?

I decided to go to University in Munich and study commercial information technology (that's what I'm still doing).

My dad runs a company that does the drilling for Geothermal power. He offered me a job I could do besides University. Great!

But I also knew I wanted more than "just" make it through University. So, I looked for another way to enhence my life.

The solution...

I don't know why I didn't get it earlier...
