Dear friends, several years ago we visited Croatia and we were amazed by it's nature's and historical beauty. We stayed at Dalmatia-Split region and also travelled to the north of Split. We are 4 people and we plan to travel to Croatia for 3-4 weeks in August, but one of us is really keen on windsurfing (last time we found nice windsurfing station on Brac (Bol).
This year we'd like to stay at Korchula and somewhere in Dubrovnik region (Cavtat). But we can't find any information on windsurfing in this region. We'll be much obliged to you if you could give us some contact or website for windsurfing in this part of Croatia. Thanks a lot in advance, we hope for quick answer to book tickets.
Best regards,
Sofia

Hi Sofia!
For me it sounds that you really enjoyed your last Croatia vacation. Just wait and see the Dubrovnik area (it's a real treasure if you ask me).
Cavtat is an excellent place to stay in the Dubrovnik area - it's upper class and the natural beauty is just phenomenal (there you will enjoy the special mediterranean flair).
As for your question:
Bol on Brac island is probably the best windsurfing spot in Croatia (also see my photos of the famous Zlatni Rat beach). Nevertheless, Korcula also has some great windsurfing spots with great Bura wind.
Here's a website with a good explanation.
The Dubrovnik area might not be the best area for windsurfing - although you can do that, too.
There's the near island of Peljesac and in the south of the island there's Orebic which is also a great windsurfing spots with great Bura winds.
Ok, hope that helps
Greetings to Russia!
Tobias
