Direct flights from the US to Croatia

Dear Croatia travel guide,

just one question if I may:

Direct flights from the US seem to be not always available. What would you suggest? Any tips for a hub in Europe?

Hi Elizabeth,

I generally do not recommend to look for direct flights from the US. There might be airlines that offer direct flights but most of the time you should seek a hub airport in Europe - as you correctly suggested.

If you are coming in from the United States your best choice in my opinion is Frankfurt, Germany.

From here you can easily reach most airports in Croatia.
