Is there a noticeable difference in temperature between the north and the south of Croatia?

I have one question about the temperature zones in Croatia, if I may:

Is there a noticeable difference in temperature between the north and the south of Croatia? And what time of the year would you recommend for a vacation?

Regards
Mirco

Hi Mirco,

I would say it depends. In general it's a bit warmer in the south of Croatia. So, yes - if you want to have you vacation a bit more "Mediterranean" - have a look at the region south of Zadar - even Split.

As for the best time to travel to Croatia - please have a look at this article:

Hope that helps!

All the best,
