Naturism figures in Croatia

Good morning,

I would like to know if you have some information, figures about naturism in Croatia (number of foreign/domestic tourists, the 2009 and 2010 trends?)

I need figures/datas' to proove that Croatia is really a naturist destination. (I am a French student and I am writing a study about "tourism naturist in Croatia".

Hi Vanessa,

besides the figures, Croatia is in my eyes defniteley one of the world's top spots for naturism. There are 30 official naturist resorts in Croatia - and many more inofficial naturist beaches across the country. In fact, you can find naturist beaches nearly everywhere along the coastline and in the islands (1000 islands and the coastline which have a combined length of over 5000km). My personal experience is that most bigger beaches in Croatia have also one naturist beach in the surrounding area.

One of the most prominent examples is the Zlatni Rat beach in Brac island. This beach was rated into the top 50 beaches worldwide from USAtoday. One part of this beach (most popular beach in Croatia) is the so called "Paclina naturist beach".

As for the figures / trends.
Croatia had between 8-10 million foreign visitors in recent years with a little drop this year due to the economic down-turn.

I am sorry, but I don't have any figures for naturism
in Croatia and I also think that this is very hard to count. Most people book their vacation, have a hotel or an apartment and then decide for different beaches (general + naturist). But there's no counting if you know what I mean...

I love to help other students (yes, I am also a student), but I am sorry for your inquiery. I just don't have the information you are looking for.
