Snorkelling spots Croatia in August

where are the best places to stay for a snorkeling holiday. 2 adults and a seventeen year old, travelling 14 August?

since you are are travelling to Croatia in August - you will have great weather and a great Adriatic Sea. So, you should have good conditions for snorkelling.

Generally, if you are looking for snorkelling spots you have the Croatian coast plus the many islands.

I would personally recommend the southern part of Croatia - somewhere between Zadar and Dubrovnik.

The islands of Croatia offer plenty of fabulous spots - that are also fantstic for snorkelling. One such example is "Hvar island". In and around Hvar city (same name as the island) you will find dozens of great beaches for example.

Summing up:

Practically you can snorkel everywhere along the Croatian coast (and the islands) -- at least during the warm summer season :-)

Nevertheless, for more suggestions I would really need more information from you.
